Organizational Development & Program Management

As an expert in instructional design and adult learning, I have led numerous initiatives to facilitate organizational growth and development in diverse and ever-changing organizations.

  • Developed strategy and led initiative to provide engaging learning content to partners  through a new learning management system (Tovuti) and promoted Tovuti to two other organizations within the company who adopted the platform.

  • Partnered with the Human Resources People Team to validate a company-wide learning management system HowNow) and develop governance for all system administrators.

  • Led a feasibility study for adoption of HowNow and developed strategy for content and partner migration.

  • Collaborated with colleagues globally to design and develop new employee onboarding program for a growing team of approximately 50 people, which included a structured timeline, eLearning, and resources for new employees, as well as face to face training and online resources for hiring managers and onboarding buddies.

  • Led Six Sigma initiative to enhance a training and career development program that improved the existing training program by reducing requirements for initial training and creating a position-based career progression path for military personnel.

  • Provided training leadership and guidance to branch chief and mission managers in a national defense organization, to include solutions to training issues, which led to improvements in continuous training processes, career development, and position retention.

  • Managed a 3-week orientation program for all new site personnel that required coordination with work center managers and instructors to develop requirements and implement training for approximately 250 students over a 6-month period.

Instructional Design

Instructional design is my core passion, which is why I strive to be innovative and create memorable and engaging learning experiences.

  • Designed and delivered Critical Thinking program to over 50 mapping professionals that resulted in an over 1000% increase in yield of completed map edits.

  • Designed interactive walkthrough tour and walkthrough video for two editing software programs to allow users to edit the map immediately after completing the course.

  • Designed and developed change management training program for approximately 10,000 employees of a top national retailer.

  • Collaborated with a team of instructional designers and subject matter experts to design, develop, and maintain auto and life insurance courses that included demonstrations and interactive simulations, delivered to nearly 19,000 agents each year.

  • Developed and instructed social networking classes for a dozen small business owners at a local college that enabled them to create a web presence to engage with new and existing customers.

Instruction & Facilitation
My passion for training was ignited when I first had the opportunity to teach military and national defense professionals in a classroom environment. That has since evolved to webinars and asynchronous environments.
  • Used webinar interfaces such as GoToTraining, Zoom, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams to provide online instruction to diverse global audiences within the organization and to external partners.
  • Taught presentation and public speaking skills workshop to high school students to prepare them to present a major project to a panel of teachers.
  • Taught writing skills, marketing, and other workshops to professional fiction writers through various writing group sponsorships and conferences.
  • Taught beginner, intermediate, and expert level classes for MS Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Presentations Skills using PowerPoint to hundred of learners at a Microsoft certified testing center and at a corporate office for employees.
  • Facilitated classroom instruction and on the job training to train multi-national military and government personnel on the concepts and operation of a complex electronic data management and processing system, with almost 100% student success rate over three years.

My Approach

My approach to learning program management is rooted in clarity, ownership, and outcomes. I lead programs end to end -- setting direction, defining roadmaps, and building governance that allows learning to scale without losing relevance. I accomplish this while staying close to the learner and the business. I partner intentionally across product and customer-facing teams to translate real needs into practical, well-designed learning experiences, balancing strategic vision with disciplined execution. As a leader, I prioritize trust, mentorship, and transparency, creating environments where teams can do their best work and programs continuously improve through data, feedback, and real-world use.
